Im trying to think, with motocross racing, there is so much involved. So many different turns, different weather conditions really effect the track, constant, throttle, brake use, different jumping/landing styles,
Compared to what? Nascar, motogp, horse racing, they seem simple compared to motocross, am I missing something ?
I would have to say that any racing is as complex as you want to make it.

Having both roadraced and dabbled in MX recently, I will say that MX is more dynamic than RR, but the forces you have to master on pavement with high traction are much higher, and the consequences of mistakes are much greater. It's definitely more difficult than MX in the long run.
Depends on what exactly you mean by "difficult." Physically demanding? MX is one of the tops in the sports world, not just racing. Technically demanding? No, I think roadracing demands more technique. Financially demanding? I would imagine anything with 4 wheels would be more expensive, but racing anything pretty much means the same thing: the faster you want to go, the more money you're going to spend.

I think mx would be the most physical, but defintely not the most difficult. They have the whole track right in front of them, and not as many different variables to deal with( rocks, trees, cars, etc). I would pick desert racing, paris to dakar events. Alot more unknown to deal with, instead of mastering the same mx tracks that you know ahead of time.
I would say most physicallyh demanding yes. "hardest" I dont know how to judge that, I think someone pro at both would give a good answer. I am more used to dirt from growing up/my background so I still have a hard time with trying to replicate the SAME line lap after lap on the pavement...meanwhile in mx you have a changing environment and taking different lines is beneficial when thetrack gets turned into total shit for the 2nd moto...
