Heading over on Sunday. Should be there about 10:30. Any one else?
I'll be there, my 250 isn't ready yet though so it'll just be for socialness. : )
Any chance you still have that front brake master you mentioned awhile back when I was looking for one for my CB650? I've got to get that thing on the road again as I'm going nuts with nothing to ride at the moment.
Oh, and I've been told Hemonds now has a GNCC style 4+ mile long loop running off one of their tracks. Sounds like fun to me?
Bring your gear, there will be plenty of time to take mine for a rip. I may not have my truck while I am there. The wife is going to take it to the beach. So look for me under an easy-up.
Which bike was I going to grab one off of, VTR, GS, VFR, TTR and I have one from a Yamaha Warrior ATV?
I would like to get to Hemonds but that is a haul for me. Aaron from NEMM is trying to get me up there also.
I think it was the VTX? Have you got a graveyard going over there?
As far as Hemonds, just have to make a camping weekend out of it, hit up MX207 one day, migrate north to Hemonds, camp/bs for an evening, then rip the GNCC track the next day. I'll take time off for that foolishness.
They put that GNCC loop in a couple years ago; not sure how often they run it. I have heard it's pretty gnarly though.
And if there is an NESR trip, I'm most likely in. I'm pretty sure I can scrounge up a bike for that. Just make sure that 207 is first; I wouldn't want to leave Hemonds if we went there first.

Kurlon - I looked at the data from my lap timer and the total length of that track is 1.25 miles. The best I managed for the day was a 2:45:37. I am going to look around and see if i can find lap times for that track that other people are running. I never got a good shot at that double that I wanted to conquerer. That corner formed a nasty double rut out of it and I just could not get a decent running at it
I knew the track was big, but damn. That Hemonds loop must be huge.
I think my goal for next time will be to double that one rythum set you pointed out, came close to doing so a couple times, if the first one is worn flat in the middle again I think I can do it. I was also getting a lil confidence on the flagging station step up, landing somewhat near the top which was fun.
Did you look at the new mini track? Much longer than before, could be fun.
That set of doubles is fun and easy to start with. You have plenty of time to get yourself set up. They require very little additional input other than being smooth.
I know you don't want my input on that flagging station jump.
I was getting close to clearing it, I just need to practice a little more on landing flat, encase I over shoot it. I think that is what I am working on this week at my track is to get comfortable landing hard on the gas.
I did not notice that they change the mini track also.
Found some lap times: 30+ C seems to be running a fast lap at 2:36 tp 2:38 and an average lap just under 3:00. They run 4 lap races.
I wanna get back up here soon. Abunch of us are probably heading up the same weekend as Southwick national if you wanna come back out

Sunday, September 5, looks like the next one for me.
There is a pro-hill climb that is going on at the track I pratice at on the 29th that I think I am going to. I kind of want to see 200+ hp bikes on nitro methane climb this hill that they have been building.

Actually I talked to my boss last night- turns out he's thinking we could end up over there Saturday. Which is really convenient since I would be borrowing one of his bikes.
