Get your asses up there to ride with us. It's been a long time since I started out on a ride with you and got two or three turns in and looked up to say "where they hell did Pete go! I'm not that slow am I! Dammit" and then procede to plod along until I find you waiting patiently for me.

He and i rode yesterday, from my house. I have several hundred acres of woods with miles of power line, gas and some single track. I mapped out 30 miles a few weeks ago and started cutting in the single track yesterday. I think I can get 40-60 Miles of single track right from my door.

So, how much of that several hundred acres is state authorized trails, or private property that we have the express written consent of the owner to ride on? Basically how bad would it hurt if/when we got caught riding on the trails of which you speak?

Nice part about Clough is that $65/yr and I don't have to worry about the rangers or the local/state PD bothering me as long as I stay on the trails. Riding in MA, even though I spent the money and registered my bike there, so they could collect their tax money and collect fees that will be reallocated to some other part of the budget that has nothing to do with the trails, the only "legal" riding areas are in the western part of the state (as per the state website). I realize there are other riding areas where it is known that the Rangers and local/state PDs look the other way and let people ride there as long as no one is an asshat, but if anything were to go wrong, than I as the rider would be the one in the wrong because I wan't "supposed to be riding there". Just curious more than anything.

I will more than likely be able to head up to ride for a bit on Saturday if this becomes an "On" event.

I suck at riding, especially in the dirt. My bike is too high strung for the woods too and I suck at riding it.........

Can I come and play? I am sure I wont last that long but I would like to ride for a little while.

    Re: Nov 10 Clough

Seeing as there are alot of posts about everyone that is going to be attending on Saturday morning 11/17/2012 in the Stark Pond Parking Lot at Hop/Ev/Clough, a time should probably be thrown out there so people aren't just randomly appearing and wondering who/where everyone else is.

Let's call it arrive around 9:30AM and be ready to ride by 10:00AM

For those of you that do not know me, I'll be driving a silver Subaru Impreza 2.5RS towing a harbor freight trailer with a blue and white YZ450F and as long as nothing crazy happens this week with work and me getting home from my trip I will be there on Saturday.

Anyone that doesn't have an OHRV sticker for NH yet here is a link to the list of agents that sell them http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/OHRV...agent_list.htm either get to one before Saturday and get your reg. or find one that is on the way and open early enough on Saturday to grab a reg. Only thing needed is an ID and the VIN off the vehicle to be registered.

    Re: Nov 10 Clough

If I can get the day off I would love to make it up there. Everyone I used to ride with either sold their bike or don't like to ride in the woods. It would be nice to get at least one more ride in before the snow.

I'm down for Saturday. I will have the CRF and KDX, if someone responsible needs a ride. No work boot wearing parking lot heros need to apply.

    Re: Nov 10 Clough

Great day with Sheppo and Bill! Weather was just about perfect, trails were great. Got a little slick and snotty later on in the day but great day overall.

Gotta say I was pretty disappointed that more people didn't show up. All this talk about wanting to ride, wanting people to ride with, wanting a place to ride etc. and only three of us were there. I would ask what the hell happened to all of you, but honestly not so interested in the reasons/excuses, would rather have just ridden with all of you. Maybe we'll be able to pull together another day before the snow flys and hopefully more of you will actually show up.
