^ some of the lame nj dual sport rides.
All the turkey runs, enduros and scrambles allow 2t bikes.
I did the classic on a 2t last year, with about 102838484 others.

Thanks Chip,
What would you say the percentage of 2t vs 4t is at the enduros and hare scrambles?
The 2ts are definitely coming back in a big way. I'd say 65% smokers, maybe a little less.
That's a gut check number, fwiw.

The 2 crazy fast guys competing for the AA win at yesterday's scramble were Johnny Giroir and Kyle Hangos. Both on 300 2strokes
As long as I get my suspension back from Factory Connection on time, I'll be giving the Hoot Owl Turkey Run a shot this weekend on the ole 640.
Anyone else going?

Haha nice! Glad I'm not the only one not all decked out.
I'll be on my black and green 640 with tail rack and huge tank. Feel free to introduce yourselves as I'm running solo and don't know anyone there.

Everyone knows your motorcycle goes where you look!
Yup, I kept telling myself, "don't look at that stump, don't look at that stump, don't...." And sure enough, target fixation, I was still staring at it on my way over the handlebars![]()
Piston - We saw you go right by us in the parking area, but I had forgotten about this thread! My brother even said "Hey look! A big LC4! Oh, Boy!" We have both owned LC4 620's in the past, and struggled on them in the tight New England terrain.
We linked up with TripleTaco, and rode the entire loop twice. I can barely walk right now, and my legs are sure to cramp up tonight!
Haha, ya I kept looking around for another bike my size but never did see one. At least I took off my tank bag and extra gear I had on from riding it there to lose 20lbs or so. The ride home sucked in that rain! I waned to stay for the Bon fire but had to get home soon after.
It went great, I learned a lot and had a ton of fun. I liked that it was non competitive so I didn't feel pressured by guys behind me but still pulled over to let them pass. I finished the loop once, they said feel free to do it twice because they lost a section of RI trails, but at that time I was too beat to go out and try it a second time. I got some good pointers from Jaylude in the first half, then tagged along with a father/son team from VT who were really nice to ride behind.
I wanna go back and try the first half again!
Great ride! The rain held out until the end of the day and the trails really weren't too sloppy.
Sorry we missed you Piston. I ran into Greg on my way in and admittedly didn't do much searching of the pits after that. Props to you for taking that beast of a motorcycle into those trails. I was on a bike much lighter than yours, and I still managed to take a direct flight over the bars. Greg's brother got to witness that one, and I'm told it was quite enjoyable to watch!![]()
Great riding with you Greg. I'll be hitting more of these events for sure.
