My kids, ages 4 and 6, love riding around the yard on the back of my Z125. They've been bugging me to take them on the dirt bike(KLX 140L), but it doesn't have passenger pegs. Are there some aftermarket pegs or universals out there that would work? I haven't had much luck searching.
Highway pegs clamped to the rear subframe struts? Unfortunately they're round clamps and the subframe is squared. Big chunks of rubber stuffed in? Sketchy for anyone who depends on them, but if the kid's light and just needs a place to occasionally keep themselves balanced it might work. If it starts to compress the rubber enough to bite in to the rear subframe, you may have to replace it if it creases and you depend on it for aggressive riding.

just explain to them that bikes aren't made for two people (which they aren't) and get them riding their own.that's my strategy (philosophy?) with my 3 and 5 y/o at least. one has been riding his own trials bike for two seasons and the other needs one soon. if they're into it, they will do it. way more fun and rewarding to ride side-by-side.

I've actually thought about it, but it just kills me buying all that gear that they will probably outgrow in a year.
no way on training wheels. balance bike > pedal bike > moto. i highly recommend the Oset electric bikes, awesome little machines.
yeah, outgrowing stuff fast sucks but we got some great deals on Amazon (full Fox combo + guards) and local bike shop (helmet).
