I think the only thing I am going to do on this bike, are buy a new set of plastics for selling purposes, and ride with the current ones (minus the ridiculous spitfire logos) cause i know i'll be dropping this thing.
I've been looking on ebay, and I'm seeing places selling "OEM" full plastic kits for just over $100 brand new. Are these legit? I dont know what dirtbike plastics cost.

I'll also pick up an OEM graphics kit for the new fenders, im a sucker for keeping things looking stock, or close to it. I was annoyed when bought my motorcycle that the previous owner debadged it.

They have MX kits in all colors. Check my other link post #29
Nick can probably order you parts for it through work.
I'll take it, but don't know when i can pick it up. The one on there now snapped at one of the mounting points, so one half is being held on with a zip tie. Even though I plan on getting a new set of plastics, thats just for selling purposes, i wouldn't ride with them. Therefore, i still would like to replace the rear fender anyway so the set of plastics i am riding with won't fall off.
I have been meaning to make my way up to a race weekend. I'll let you know if im heading up, if so I'll take it no matter what, but if you can make another sale, don't hold it for me.
If you're ever going to be in or around boston, let me know.

I can get it from Kitt next race weekend and meet you in Georgetown or Newburyport sometime... both are pretty close to N. Reading. Still probably makes more sense to pay the $10 to ship it. Or, just come up to watch the races in July![]()
Make JettaJ come to the races. Maybe he will get the bug.
What are my options for taking this thing to a track day? I was planning on taking my bike to the sept 29 boston moto one, but riding a motard looks like it could be damn fun, and I won't care if I drop this.
Is it worth it with just a wheel/tire swap, cause I wouldn't do anything more than that. Are 2 strokes even allowed? How tough would it be riding a 2 stroke on the street?
Kitt, let me get back to you tonight or tomorrow, for some reason I have a feeling one of the side number plates is cracked too. If thats the case, I'll probably just order a full kit of plastic and ride with it. I have barely even looked at this bike since I bought it, been too busy. No work tomorrow though, so I'm going to give this thing a real nice inspection and see what I need to order.

Whats your paypal? I'll send the 25 to cover the shipping. Unless you want to arrange it some other way.

Awesome, no real rush, tomorrow or early next week is fine.
Yeah, this is my first 2 stroke as well...not coutning my go-ped, lol.
On pavement, with traction, its tough keeping the front wheel down on the ground when you hit powerband, thats why i figured it may not make the best track bike. Nevermind all anyone would hear all day is a loud ass 2 stroke.
