A friend at work is having problems witha 1985 Suzuki Quadsport 230S.
1. Very hard to start (already rebuilt carbs)
2. Once it starts it won't idle ( timing and valves have been set)
3. Stumbles at low speed
Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

John, check the compression and see what ya get.
Squid, the reason your wheeler ran like kaka after the K$N is because you need to adjust the jets acordingly. The K&N will let in more air so you can step up your jet a size and see what happens. Very easy task to do on the blaster.
