...to never ride in this temp without the proper gloves!..HOLY SHIT my hands were freezing! Anyone else go riding today?.. I only rode for a short time. But damn was it cold!..

Some plastic brush guards work well to keep the wind off, then use a pair of ski gloves
I still have to put a set of bars and brush guards on the raptor, maybe mid to end of March I'll start working on the thing. I'm almost tempted to trade it for a 05 YFZ seeing there are a few "potential" MX tracks opening in the area, and trail riding seems to becoming less and less

Oh yea, want to sell it? how much will the stealership give you for it? I might be able to atleast match that..!?!?!

A guy I work with has a 2005 YFZ450LE, yellow, black and white and there was mention of a trade. His has a bunch of stuff done to it though for MX riding, extended axle and A-arms, hyper wheels (carbon fibre} and who knows what else including all the stock stuff

hey, when you ride, can you get your boots under your shifter?..I rode for the first time with my boots the other day. DAMN it was difficult! after they break in will they be more flexible? O tried adjusting my shifter, but It didnt help much..

BTW FU for not wantng to sell me your raptor for a ridiculously low price!

I have no problems getting my boot under the shift, tho I think I may have had to adjust it up one notch?

I talked to my buddy today at work with the 450, he wants me to buy A-arms and a extended axle for the 700 and install them and he'll even trade. I don't think I'm going to though, I do like the idea of the wider MX suspension for the tracks but it's limited if I ever do some trails, so I'd be looking for a stocker
