yeah i've never used that fender deal. the side lever is the way to go if you can "handle" running a manual set-up.i don't think there is a way to adjust the blade with ether electric or manual on the bike. i got sick of trying to adjusting it and ran it strait all the time. with a good blade waxing it worked just fine

There's a number of companies that make 'from the seat' angle adjusters. Arctic Cat has one that mounts to the rack. Pretty inexpensive too...
