    Lord knows Yamaha will never give us a 6 speed, thus the absolute fiction of that "article" from last June. I wasn't to keen on the steel frame and conventional forks spec'ed either.

    The picture didn't match the specs was my point.
    Full disclosure- my steel framed 4 speed YZ450 was (is?) faster than my aluminum framed WR450.

    Can someone actually build a YZ500 so we can all just rub up against it already?

    Hrmmm... stuff a 99 and up 72mm stroke crank in my 92 cases, only need to go to a 94mm bore to hit 500cc, 26mm overbore, what could go wrong?
