shocker.

renting is not so bad...too many things can go kaboom when you own
I can't imagine how expensive owning a house would be...owning a couple cars and a couple bikes is expensive enough![]()
holy crap - I didn't think it was possible, but unicorns do exist

2004 CRF230, converted for street use for $1,500
I know you're not looking anymore, and that it's not in MA, but for the record - you were right, they're out there!
yeah... I would definitely snatch that one up if it was around here. (not into shipping something across country)
I want that for my wiffer. She'd never use it, but that doesn't take away from the curb appeal at all.

ya, seems like a nice little bike...I sent him an email and he will be able to show the bike after August 12th
if this is clean, doesn't need any potentially destructive engine work, and I can get some street tires on extra rims for not a lot of money, I might pick this up and sell the DR
What's your DR you've got now? A 250? If so, why bother if yours is running already?
I have the dr200se, and the crf230 is a better bike all around but still "small". So if I can sell the DR and cover most of the cost of the crf, I might do it...the big kicker is that I have spare rims for the dr (1 set knobby, 1 set street) and the extra pricing out for spare rims for the crf might not be worth it for me. Plus the dr is still in break in @ 600 miles, so I really need to think about whether or not I want to get into a bike with more performance that I don't know its maintenance and wear history
it's likely that I'll keep the dr...but I rented the crf for a day, and it intrigued me so I don't mind doing the research
