Meeting at 10am for a ride, PM me for location and directions![]()
You MUST have a street registered bike and the trails are dualsport friendly for the most partThe pace will be mellow/moderate as we are still searching for the rest of the trails. I know there were side trails off that one trail with all the rocks and hills... haha We will ride to the nearby gas station for a fuel and lunch stop

Those who have gone the past couple weekends know where it is so don't PM me and just show up![]()

I'm out, 3 inches doesn't sound like fun with a little guy and a huge bike. Enjoy the fun!

I was just gonna send you a PM saying the same thing. Smart move I think considering it's a 1.5 hour ride to get there for me.
Can't wait till the next time though.

I got the "gold" ice screws from my local dealer. It takes about 500 total but you'll want 2 different sizes/ I put 5/8" in the rear tire and 1/2" in the front. The knobs on the front aren't as deep as the rear so you may puncture it if you use the 5/8" on the front. 1/2" in the rear will probably rip out much sooner, I know they came out on Todds YZ last year after about an hour.
You can get them in bags of 250, I think they are $20 a bag.
I'm going to hold off until after the holidays to stud mine because I don't have any free days to ride until January now, we'll see what the snow looks like that time of year![]()

I bought mine at performance cycles last year but I have also seen them at Motorsports in auburn. I wouldn't wait to buy them as they will sell out quick once it gets colder.
I put one screw in every nob on the front
and for the rear I put one screw in all of the square knobs on the "side " of the tire and 3 in all of the center rectangle ones and 2 in each of the other smaller center ones.
usually takes a couple hours to do both tires with a cordless drill and a 1/4 '' driver bit.
Then in the spring just back them all out and you can ride on the same tire in the dirt.
We went last yera on a lake near me. Someone had plowed out a circle track. It would be cool if we could get someone with a plow to plow out a road course on the ice . Anyone have a plow for their 4 wheeler? Or want to take their truck out on the ice when it gets thick enough??

I didn't last year and won't this year unless there is a different type of ice. Half the fun was slamming your foot down on the ice in the corners as a glide, sorta like getting your knee down on a bike I guessOriginally posted by FireNutzRR

Wayne-oI have read where some guys do put a couple of screws in their boots though.
Also, you can go on any ice with a public boat ramp as long as you at least have a offroad registration![]()
