Anyone go?Not much time for a text report, but here are a few pictures.
Lots of fun for sure and an awesome trip, but I have to say...being a Stewart fan and him not being there, and the championship already won prior to this even took "some" of the excitement away for me anyways. I would go again for sure
Monster tent
Not a fan, but cool to see the bike! To hear the crowd boo when his name was called...don't know how to describe it!
Some Pyro, could feel the heat
View from our hotel room, The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Walking the strip...some really cool stuff
I have a crapload more pictures and a bunch of upclose shots I got when the bikes were on display the day after for the awards banquet. I'll try and get some more up in a day or so![]()
Yamaha
Stewart or not (and i'm a yamaha fan), that still had to be a pretty cool event. I'll make it one year.

I didn't go to Vegas, but I was at the Orlando SX in 07 (RC's last race). For those who are fans of racing, it is something that should be on your list of things to do. TV does it no justice. And the show is amazing.

The girlfriend and I were there for the week before the races, stayed at the NY NY, and were at the races Saturday night. Definitely a fun event! If you look at your pictures of the track, we were sitting at roughly your 10-11 o'clock position. Where the riders came back into the stadium and hit the "ski jump" is right where we were, right at the concourse level, damn good seats for the show!
The lites races turned out to be better than the 450s in my opinion. The east west shootout race, lites finals, was great to watch. Good to see the winner be who it was (no spoiler here) Kinda sucks that the fourth place rider wound up going from second to fourth on the last lap he was riding really well the whole day.
The outdoor series should be fun to watch this summer, it starts this coming weekend correct, Hangtown? I'm hoping to make it to a couple of the nationals, probably try to go to Unadilla, Southwick and Budd's Creek.
