Teraflex DOT approved? Motorace?

I Googled Teraflex tires and came up with Motorace, right near me in Wilbraham as a dealer. I was just wondering if both styles (the 110/100-18 and the massive 150/90-18) are DOT approved.
I need a new rear tire for my DRZ-S and was hoping to try one out. Thumpertalk says that the 150 will fit, but I am afraid that it will feel like a balloon back there...so I was leaning towards the 110. I would like to see them both in person before I make up my mind.
I have only ridden on one (a 150) a long time ago on a '78 Husky OR390. It felt just fine, IIRC.
I have been running Kenda K-270's for ever, since I am on the street as often as I am in the dirt. I was hoping that the tall knobs of the Teraflex's would last a while.
