I'll be due for a new front tire soon. I may have to try the fatty out for next season.

Seriously. Both tires are just about on the floor with the thing up on the stand now. Used to have ~2" of clearance on both ends.

Not going to get any better when I put the fresh rear on. New rear is a bit bigger too @ 110/100-18 where I have a 100/100-18 on now.

I know how to tune my air screw. AND I have that front tire already. Only question now is if I can find my way to the parking area to begin with.

here's a list of neu-skool 'hybrids' (more knob spacing + MX patterns) on my radar , if anyone has or is going to try any of these i'd love to hear your feedback. prob try one of them for the remainder of the season, it's about to get ssssslick. leaning toward the Motoz since the tread pattern is very similar to what i'm used to and like.

i've read the Shinko works really well, price point erases any worry of it wearning fast.

yeah, the more i think about it, the more i'm ready to press [YOU BUY NOW] button on the Arena. Kevin's and RMATV have them in stock.

Hard not to find traction with these new fattie tires. Most telling part is how much grip they have when you get them on their sidewall. Compared to the shagged IRC whatever whatevers I had on they are phenomenal.

Now about that rounded off rear.
