Last years' was a hoot. There are enough hero sections on the ds ride to keep ya'all entertained, and somebody will almost assuredly do something ridiculous.

I really need to get my XR200R street plated so I get into the dual-sport community and join these rides

are there 2 different rides? the ad says "open to...off-road mass registered (yellow plates)"

or are there sections that are only open to the ORV bikes? if so, is there any additional riding aside from freetown state forest that you can do with yellow plate?

The turkey run is orv legit.
It does the man loop at ftwnsf. 'bout 25 miles of snot.
So, yes, two different rides.
Just buy a drz and be done if you want a cheap/capable ds.
