    trail spare and tools

    what do you guys carry?

after tipping the XR200 going ~10mph, I realized than that an extra 10mm socket, 12mm socket, and clutch lever would've been a life saver

the fire breathing 2 stroke also should have an extra plug and wrench

and a camel bak is useful to carry water and to carry your keys/registration/tools

    what else?

and can you get tank bags or a fanny pack for the handle bars?

This is my set up. Carries almost everything I need. After my last couple of rides I might toss in a lever and a shifter.

The Natick outdoor store carries a large pack similr to a Camelback Mule for only $29.I'd start with that.

I just carry James along with me on rides. He's the tool I need.

Always carry a plug and a plug wrench that fits your bike. Also, unless you run Bridgestone Ultra Heavy Duty tubes (highly recommended), try to carry a standard 21" tube, tire irons, and an inflator kit. The 21" tube can be used in the rear wheel (18" or 19") in a pinch.

Cruz tools ecno1 kit + 21" tube, tire irons and MT.bike pump and spark plug in my Camalbak mule. A Leatherman is GREAT my ridding buddy had one and it saved my ass big time. Trail side sheered flywheel key way repair. I needed to file a key he got from a boat repair place to fit.
