I just bought a 300ex and the clutch doesn't fully release after it warms up. There's no problem stopping the machine with the brakes and the engine doesn't bog down. It will creep if the brakes are not held and it's just about impossible to get into neutral without shutting the engine down. Anybody ever experience this? I'm thinking warped drive plates but I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem and might remember exactly what it was.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
How much slack is in the clutch cable? And is the cable good? I'd check those first.
For what it's worth, my KTM 525 has been that way sence new...though it has a hydrolic clutch. No matter what I do to try and adjust it, it never changes the creaping forward motion (sometimes spins the rear tire when it's cold with the clutch in)...and I got in the habbit of finding neutral before coming to a complete stop
