Want yes, can no.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

I would love to go. With a little more notice (like a day) I could totally do it as long as you wouldn't mind a newbie mx'er on a klx250s dual sport.
I went mx once and loved it. The guys I went with told me I did very well for 1st time.
what time will you be there til? if i can make it for a few sessions i'll be in a black pickup with the only Husky there![]()

holy hell...what a day to take off to ride mx. My truck said 94 degrees on the way to the track. Track is pretty cool this year, there are actually a few bigger jumps and one really tricky downhill double that I had to come out of tricky corner, pin 2nd and click to 3rd in order to make. 4th gear tabletop in the back straight away down the hill after the sand section as well.

sorry i couldnt make it, work just wouldnt stop coming in
track is fun this year, huh? i'm heading up tomorrow AM with my neighbor.
we were watching a guy rip around last Sat, in the section just before the step-down into the deep left-hander, he was launching off the first tabletop and landing on the second! total childsplay for him out there. no footers in the sand double too. hahaa.
glad you got out to play! man it was steamy though.. .

ya definitely fun but I still suck at that track...I blow at alot of those flat/offcamber turns...I grew up riding all my spots like southwick with huge sand berms aha. Cool to see a few challenging jumps though for sure

those flat corners are my project for tomorrow... even more fun after they water = GREASE![]()

o dude...they were watering which is nice since it was so hot but there were huge puddles forming, alot right after landings of jumps, it got sketchy

hahaa. Rocky Hill gets super slick when they water too.
too bad you werent with us last weekend. absolutely THE BEST conditions I've ever seen at CH. no ruts, no grease, perfect ramps, perfect temps.. . so killer.

I finally mastered that downhill double out of the flat corner. I faced it the first time i tried it and it gave me trouble for a while.
I also love that 4th gear jump after the sand. Clearing it on the 125 requires some pretty high speed. The landing is a bit flat and I sometimes struggle to get slowed for the kink left.
Overall, the jumps are MUCH bigger and tougher than in past seasons. Glad I'm not the only one that finds the flat corners tricky.
ya for sure...that long table I was hitting in 4th developed pretty mean braking bumps right at the landing all the way through that left hander and it got pretty damn sketchy...like instantly landing in braking bumps and bike is bouncing all over the place while trying to turn/click down 2 gears.
I think the trickiest part about that downhill double is where to get your drive from, the corner really has alot of options to come in tight or go wide etc and had no defined ruts/berms.

Exactly! I found on the 125 that I need to take the widest line I can around the flat turn to get the drive. I was also clicking up a gear just as I got to the ramp.
Landing in the braking bumps! Ha! I ran straight off the track a few times and cut off the right hander. Can't turn when the bars are waggin outta control![]()
haha ya, by the end of the day when it got bumpy, I was going straight past that inside hump where you turn left and laying it over/slamming straight into the outside berm at the very edge of the track as your turn left(thank god there is some dirt built up there)
