Only a few months without my SuperMoto and I have the itch againI don't have the funds to buy a new bike (tho part of me for some fucked reason wants another late model SXV550) so I was thinking of getting an extra set of wheels for my KTM dirty.
The question I guess, has anyone here used the Warp 9 SM wheel kits, and how did you like them? Problems? Looking at the price, you can't match the bang for the buck and what you get with the kit. I've followed SMJ for the past month and what few KTM wheel sets come up, either sell instantly or are missing to many expensive parts to make it worth it.
This is the kit I'm looking at, it'll be $30 more for a 5" rear wheel. All i'll need to do is tires and tubes.

Any thoughts, comments...or does anyone have a complete KTM SM wheelset with brakes for an 03 and up KTM they want to sell?

I'm not sold on any brand, I just want to stay in that price range...and get everything I need. They are going on my woods bike that is still going to be ridden 90% in the woods, I just want a quick option to have some SM fun.
It's going to cost me a total of $910.00 for wheels (5" rear), spacers, rear rotor, sprocket, front rotor and front relocation bracket. If you..or whoever it is can help and match that price, I'd rather support local that a west coast ebay store

I bought a set of Warp 9's for the 250x I tarded. They were heavy, but worked well for what I was using them for (just street riding and not all that much of it). I'd buy them again.

i stumbled across some stock KTM smc wheels for 700 on CL in NY. 5" rear like you wanted.
perfect set of SMC black Supermoto wheels off a 2009 KTM 690 SMC. they are clean, straight, and very little time on them. no tires sprockets or brake discs. front is 3.5x17 and rear is 5.0x17
will fit any newer year ktm 450 525 690 enduro etc... minor scuff from use in pic

When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

I was unsure if the SMC wheels would fit, I thought my dealer mentioned only the offroad EXC/XCW/SX style bikes would fit. It's also a good example of missing all other components. I've seen plenty of wheels only in that price range, but you start buying rotors, sprockets, spacers, calliper brackets, etc, it adds up fast.
I think I'm gonna go with the Warp 9 kit, it's simple, seems to be OK quality and comes with everything I need

It was simple, it was easy, they will be here in 3 days![]()

I got them, they are on the bike
Overall, I'm pretty happy for the money. The quality seems better than I was expecting and are a perfect fit. The only issue, the dude sent me the wrong brake caliper relocator. He's express mail it to me, should be here tomorrow! Can't wait to take it for a spin, hopefully tomorrow night.

Dood, sweet! What'd the whole kit run ya? Bout 900?
Eesh... I was toying with the idea of doing the same with my 400 EXC but that's a bit much for me.

You don't like the stock ktm fender, but you'll take that awful headlight on the husky? GROSS!

Give it a name...that headlight is still ten times grosser than the stock orange fender.

It was $910 to my door for everything except tires and tubes. I used the tires and tubes off my YZ supermoto wheels, so no extra cost for me on that end.
After one ride down some dirtroads and trails, you'll realize how important function is over looks when it comes to the front fender. I'll never put a SM fender on a bike again...all they do is look good
I havn't seen any in my area anyways. It should go pretty good, downsized sprocket on the rear by 6 teeth..and it did have it upto 75 on the pavement in dirt trim
It should be fun, I can't wait to try it! I just got the new caliper relocator today in the mail, but havn't had a chance to put it on yet

You have to cut the chain with that gearing?
