Is there such a thing? I am siick of going riding and having wet feet 3 minutes into an all day ride. It makes for cold wet feet and a shitty day this time of year.
Any suggestions?

Over the boot type pants are one of the best ways to "try" and stay dry. People even duct tape the boot to pant area if they don't have over the boot type pants.
I was searching for boots as well a few weeks ago, I've heard SIDI boots offer some of the best water protection but there are 2 major downfalls to them.... They will fall apart (bolted together) and they will destroy the side covers and frame on your bike.
My boots are at a point now where if I dab a foot down in a puddle for a split second, I feel the water start to wet my sock.. Yup, makes for a uncomfortable day of riding for sure..in any temperatures

There must be one????
Why hasn't anyone made a set yet? What do the hare scramble guys do? Surely there must be a pair no?

Brilliant!!!! Waterproof socks.
Yay that's great but what about the 2 gallons of water each boot holds. Do I need to drill drain holes now. This is absurd to think no one has a waterproof riding boot.
I'm going to start wearing rubber galloshes over tennis shoes.

i've had TONS of water in my Forma Pro's after stepping in some foot + deep puddles and not too long after it was pretty much all drained out... not sure how but it went somewhere. Obviously the inside of the boot was still all wet, but it wasn't like my foot was swimming in a puddle.
I just wear regular wool ski socks right now & haven't had much problem w/ cold feet but I may pick up a pair of those sealskinz to keep em dry.

Boots that leak at the seams need boot wax. Over-the-boots pants deflect most "splashing," but if you put a foot down in some bottomless quag hole, they don't work so hot. The duct tape works pretty good at keeping mud out and most water. If my boot(s) gets dunked, I wring out the sock(s) trailside soon after. Immersion foot is not fun. Socks that wick and don't stick are a necessity. And do not try the plastic bag thing -- your feet will get wet from perspiration rapidly, and then cold..
If you wear good socks under the plastic bags they stay pretty dry & warm.... much more so than w/o if you're puttin your feet down in the swamps, that's for sure
found these for hands... i heard a couple good reviews on em from thumpertalk.com

wick away socks and drain holes in the bottom of the boot.

Few weeks ago I found myself standing in a knee deep 'puddle' staring down at my submerged CRF. I was rather surprised for the 5 minutes I was there in the water that my feet didn't get deluged with water. I had on Fox Forma Pro's and Thor Static pants that go over the boot. The pants also had a 'snowboard pant like' gator that made a very nice seal around the ankle of the boot. I think that kept the water from pouring over the top of the boot and onto my foot. Sure a lil water leaked in over the course of the day, but it was worse splashing thru puddle than actually standing in one.
Woods riding. Oh yea it's awesome!

LOL!!!!!
My Tech 8's will leak a little, but mostly if the puddle is above the ankle as the sewn in gaiter does a decent job in the more shallow ones.
