    I just got off the phone w/ Alex... he's saying MX207 is lookin pretty likely for Saturday. I'm up for that more than I am for trails.

    PeteOreo's never really ridden dirtbikes and you want to take him on a joyride in the New England woods on a port/polished KX250? Rocks, roots, tight trees, mud.. rrright. Not a lil pussycat TTR125/225 we are talking about here. Not exactly how I'd want to learn all the cool things about my new bike.


    I on the other hand am not at all worried about riding in the woods, just would rather go rip laps, hit jumps, explode berms, and hammer whoops.

    Come out, it'll be a great group ride in franklin. There is no pushing the pace. My second time on dirt I went out with Kates. Lots to learn, great trails, and they're really not that agressive. Good for everything from advanced to first timers.

    KPTR is running the Rocky Woods Turkey Run in Dighton this Sunday, you should come down and ride that or sweep it with John Morrison. By the way, he test rode my bike and liked the feel of the forks.
    Also the following week is the Slip Shot club ride.

    Yeah I don't bite, much... come on down we have some of the best trails any where. We can go 5-50 miles. it'll be fun.

    Kevin, if these guys fag out on Sunday I may head down, I've done it before, roger does a nice ride.

    Directions from Providence RI: Route 195 East to MA; take Exit 4 in MA to Route 103
    Cross Route 6 onto Route 138 North
    Go approximately 8 miles on Route 138; start is across the street from Dunkin Donuts
    Directions from MA: Route 495 to Exit 8, Route 138
    Take Route 138 South thru Taunton center towards Dighton
    Start is approximately 4.5 miles from Taunton center across from the Dunkin Donuts

    Entry info
    Key Time is 9:00 AM
    Sign up opens at 7:00 AM
    Tech opens at 7:00 AM
    Riders Meeting at 8:45
    Valid street registration, license and proof of insurance. NO ORV plates
    Entry fee of $30.00, parking donation of $5.00 to benefit the Taunton Area Vietnam Vets Association (TAVVA)

    70 miles of single track trail with only 5 miles of tar! No one can squeeze as many miles of single track out of an area like Roger does! At some points on the course, you will have riders going by you twenty feet away in the opposite direction!

    Gas truck available, bring a gas can. No gas stations on route.
    The TAVVA will have a concession stand at the gas stop and at the Start/Finish

    Again, I'm not scared of any woods. I raced downhill for 5 years, which is going 25-50mph down a mountain on a dirbike with no motor while bouncing off trees I'll catch up with you guys at some point in the sticks.

    Going riding with g/f Saturday, she wants to hit jumps. Yes you read that right.

    We got two options:

    1. Go riding near my place. Cheap(free), lots of trails, mud, fireroads, etc, a couple huge dunes, big gravel pits, etc. Good place to get used to dirt riding.

    2. Go to Maine and ride motocross. Fast, fun. $.

    I'm leaning towards riding here.
