I should be there - I have some place I need to be in the morning - as soon as I get out of there I'm loading up the trailer and heading out. Can't wait!
As frustrated as I am with my truck, I got in about 5 motos at my local spot. It was definitely hammered by recent rains and there were those deadly runoff trenches everywhere, including at the landing of the gravity cavity!
Anyway, the new bike is sublime! Purrrfect motor with power everywhere and it fires first kick even hot. The triples on there reduce rake by 2.5 degrees and you can really feel it. It steers lighter than my 125 and just falls into the turns like butter. There was standing water after the big turns, so I couldn't hammer through them, but it was no problem putting it where I wanted.
In the heavy whoops at my spot, this thing is like magic. It's plush as can be, but never gets pulled down in like a soft bike would. It always finds the tops of the whoops somehow, even at slower speeds. Wick it up and it easily tops those oddly spaced deep sand volkswagons. I think I'll be doubling those soon! I got a serious workout, but no arm pump and just feel a lot less beat up than I normally would.
Can't wait to take it to a big track. Maybe Rocky Hill Sunday with Kitt.
I couldn't make it today - dealing with the R6 and getting that ready for LAPS - anyone riding Saturday?
Nice crow was good as well. All whooped out

Any of you guys want to go check out the new track in Oxford Saturday? A friend of a friend is running it - sounds like a good spot.
I was thinkin of checking it out but I think I'm going to wait til next spring. I talked to a kid who just broke his foot there. Said they are into improving but it is still too new to be good, lots of rocks to get out etc...Nice to have another place though for sure.

local track dried out a bit. Got the new bike up to speed. Feels great. I think I need to firm up the front a tad. There's one whoop that keeps kicking the rear up. Ittracks flat through all the others,so I think the front is plowing in too deep
