I'd like to get back up there this summer, don't really
care when as long as it doesn't conflict with a race weekend.
I have a 3/4 ton diesel pickup, extra cab, and a 14' enclosed trailer.
So I can take two people w/bikes and gear along.
If anyone else planning on going up let me know.
I'd like to give this track a try this year. I have my own tow setup but might be game to join you (or vice-versa?).
You thinking weekend or weekday? Weekdays would be better for me but -might- be able to do a weekend. The July 26-30 event (Sat-Wed; would consider either 2-3 days, preferably M-W) works best for my schedule. The dates at the end of June would also probably work for me.
I think I could round up a couple others. I'll keep an eye on the thread.
love that place. unless i rebuild or replace my muffler, then my bike isnt welcome there.
other than my girlfriend, i was the only SV there. i may have embarrassed some big bikes

Ill bring my spare oem pipe in case its needed.
Oxx -- I was at that Calabogie event, and I have three distinct memories: (1) that you had the loudest, most obnoxious motorcycle I personally had ever heard at a racetrack, one that makes the casual, uninitiated listener say, "What a dick"; (2) that every time the starter/track marshall saw your bike on the grid-up, he just shook his head in disbelief that you managed to pass sound inspection and be allowed on track; and (3) that you passed sound inspection and were allowed on track.
Are you saying that your bike is even louder now?

I think there are a few apps as well.
I've never been to bogie, but I have been told that they try hard to not fail people. Also, they tell you to bring it to redline, but your the one twisting the throttle, so just don't twist it all the way.

no, but i believe they have changed the Db level a little and how they test.
aaaaand, thats how i got away with it. they asked what redline was. i said 8 (its 10.5). they said bring it to 6. i brought it to 4 or 5. i passed....barely.
if i repack my muffler it should pass. but the bike will eat the packing by lunch
