Can someone tell me if I get any sort of confirmation notice that payment has been received and I'm good to go?...... Just wondering, I didn't see anything about it on the website.

Yes. Once payment has processed, and we receive confirmation of funds, riders will receive a phone call from Rick confirming your registration. I just spoke with him 2 mins ago, and he told me that he has registrations to run today, and he is expecting some confirmations today, so if you are yet to receive a call from him, please be patient, you will receive one from him soon.

I faxed in my forms on Thursday. My credit card hasn't been charged and I haven't gotten a phone call. Should I be worried or patient? When I try to call in the fax just picks up...

Unfortunately, I won't be there for the 8/31 event as I'll be at Bonneville for the Motorcycle Land Speed Trails. But I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again for the September date and next year !!!!

Unfortunately, I got work this week that Bonneville is off for 2009 for Team Markertek. The primary sponsor pulled the plug on us, leaving us about $15k short to finish the project and get the machines out to Utah.

So, it looks like I will be there 8/31 !!

Can we get in the night before? I was assuming no camping = no evening-before access, and the earlier answers suggested that camping would not be allowed.

(I'd be psyched if it was, as I haven't quite figured out my backup plan yet, but I expect it to involve waking up far too early.)

Yeah, it does, but it'll be there next year and the next and the next. I'll fill you in on the details next week. Sorry, no swag... But I do have a couple small womens shirts left over form the 2007 effort, think they will fit ?

My house is just under an hour from the track in dover, nh. No city traffic and shit to deal with though. Not sure what time I'll be getting home Sunday, but it shouldn't be too late. If you need a place to crash that sunday...

Can't offer beds, but I've got a 2nd bedroom with some floorspace (no bed in there) and a living room with a couch and some floor space. Anyone in a jam for a spot to stay, this may be a better option than say, leaving boston @ 4AM to deal with/beat traffic.

Yeah, the check I sent in cleared last week, so I was assuming the same. I figured they had enough calls to make, so I haven't pushed the issue...just thought I'd ask while I was thinking about it.

hey guys, I've been trying to call Laps and it looks like their phone # is the same # as their fax #. Does someone here know a # I can call to reach them? I'm looking to book a track day for Sept. 28th. Thanks in advance.
