I got a pretty good deal on this and wondered if it would pass tech for ALL of the track days held @ Loudon and Penguin School. It's a Soumy Vandal, manufacture date is Dec. 2009 and these were in the spec's. Thanks for any help.
* Special sound-absorbing polymers
* Shape designed for optimum ergonomics
* High impact resistant fiberglass
* High impact resistant composite thermoplastic resin shell
* Shell design optimised to resist impact
* Neck protection
* Certified in accordance with the current British standards

* Lightweight scratch-proof, antifog, impact-resistant visor safety-lock visor system
* Competition-style d-ring closure, with button to fix strap

Thanks! I've still got my RX7 for Penguin next year. I got this Suomy for $120. shipped so I thought I'd give it a try on my huge mellon. It actually fits a hair(get it??) better than my RX7 and a few better than my Quantum II.

However with that said, the 2011 rulebook is not out yet and there was talk at a recent rider's meeting that the helmet rules WILL be changing.Originally Posted by LRRS Rulebook

Sounds like a great deal.
As long as it fits you well, great buy.
