So, I just finished uploading one of the 4 videos I took of my sessions. This wouldve been the 11:40 session for red group. Im going to try and get the other videos up over the weekend. But I have to trim some of the video because theres a 15min length limit for youtube.
Be sure to watch in HD once youtube finishes processing it.

The more I watch these videos, the more I can really see how much harder I could have pushed the bike. Without feeling the sensations, Gs, etc... you can really pick apart how youre using the lines and power and braking zones etc.

Was anyone taking video of the intermediate group on tuesday besides garandman?
Great riding with everyone and meeting many new faces.
Roland. That is insane what happened to that engine. Looks like a full tear down and clean up.
I'm all for small bike on the track. You will learn a lot more. Because you have to.

Nice! Your lines look good and you seem to be carrying some decent corner speed. I actually cheered when you made that pass into the bowl!
I noticed a few extra steering inputs a few times exiting the bowl. I was also having problems making that exit one smooth arc from inner-outer-inner apexes on the EX250. At full power, the little Ninja just didn't produce enough power to drift the bike up there! I'm pretty sure the solution is to enter with more corner speed. For me, that's something that's easier said than done.
A rebuild was already planned for the off season. This just made the tear down much more entertaining!
A big!!!

Haha, thanks. And are you talking about the uber cool double-pass?
But yeah, after doing the track walk Monday night with Gino and Scott, I realized that I was adding extra inputs in a number of places, most notibly coming out of t6 up and through t9.
Youre right about the Ninja though... its a little tough to exit with enough speed to drift out to 'the line', but that just means you have to come in with more speed!![]()

Just got done uploading the video from the Red group 10:40 session
YouTube - TonysTrackDays - 10/4/2010 - Beginner Group - Session #1
3rd session is just finishing encoding, then ill put it up on youtube. Hopefully going to encode the 4th session tonight or tomorrow
Unrelated.. I stopped by the local dealership (where i bought my 250) and inquired about trading it in. One thing led to another, and well, Ill be riding around on an 07 ZX6R midweek. Hoping to get a feel for it the remainder of this season and then come out ready to rock next season. Hopefully going to be working on small cosmetics over the winter.
