New photography site (LAPS 7/6 pics posted as well)

Well, it's taken a little while, but I finally got all the finishing touches done on our photography web site.

We decided to go with SmugMug, since the site is fairly easy to use and it also takes care of the shipping of the photos.

The new site is www.motionsportsphoto.com.

It will soon have both motorcycle and equine photography, as well as, some of Annalisa's stock photos.

I'm pretty psyched about this, since I've been talking about doing this kind of thing for a couple of years now to supplement some income. We'll see how things go.

I did contact Rick and as it turns out, he has a a contract with Meg as the exclusive photographer for LAPS track days.

Looks like I'll have to remove the photos I took, or just not sell them.

Bummer, but that's business.

I've emailed the lady who built mine (www.therealmcgyver.com), but she has yet to return my messages. I'd like to set it up so I can sell some of my formula one photos. I didn't build mine. I used SmugMug and just customized my site with a header image and a theme, which you choose. I signed up for Pro, which is $149/year, but I found a 20% off coupon. Pro adds the commerce part and things like watermarking and right-click prevention.

I also registered the motionsportsphoto.com domain w/ godaddy.com at a cost of $35 for 2 years (with 10% coupon). The $35 also added masking of my personal information for the domain.
