I would suggest a "package deal" that includes bike, trailer, spares, rains, warmers, stands, transponder and apartment with roommate who can hold your umbrella and drive the race hauler. Or you could live in the enclosed trailer, that would work!

Better idea. Buy a bike for the wife to learn how to ride then turn it into a track bike. Then when she goes to ride it, the damn thing is so uncomfortable she want's another bike. It's a win-win.

Just keep buying parts. A frame here. A shock there. Some clip-ons from eBay. Tell her you just put it together from stuff you had laying around the garage.

I agree with much of the sentiment. All these people getting out of racing or selling there bikes because they get married or something... sickening. I'm getting married, bought an 848 last time I was in Jersey when I blew the engine on my r6. My buddy asked if I ran it by the girl first. I said "fuck no, it's my money, I do what I want with it"

Told the fiance about later that night, her reply "seems sort of impulsive". When I texted her a picture, her response "wow, sexy bike"

My wife recently told me I have had enough riding days to make up for all of the times I watched the kids so she could go on a trip with her girlfriends. Anyone want to guess how many "riding days" I've actually had?
