Did a day with Absolute down at NJMP - Thunderbolt. I bought the day from a friend who couldn't make it so I was placed in the Intermediate group, no biggy but these NY guys in the intermediate were taking themselves out like I don't know what. (No fault of the track day organization - Absolute)
By lunch 5 accidents and only 1 session and two laps!
(Absolute was running 4 groups, standard 3, plus a racer group)
Once I was moved up day improved, only one guy took himself out in the Advanced group during the second half of the day. There were others in the intermediate and racer group.
This video is from my "audition or test" to get bumped up.
I really like this track!

nice vid. I was also there in the intermediate level. there were 23 crashes total that day. think people were drinking that courage juice earlier in the day. This was my first time at Thunderbolt also and I had a great time. I LOVE that track.
I was also there. Saturday and Sunday were just clusterfucks, people crashing all the time because they were riding above their heads. Monday was much much better. I had thought about asking to be bumped up but since Monday was going good I just stayed in Intermediate and almost everyone. It sucked having so many red flags especially since the Absolute guys were doing everything they could to try to help prevent people from riding stupid. Sometimes you just can't fix stupidity.
