06/07 & 08/09 GSX-R rear wheel

Anyone know if the rear wheel on an 06/07 GSX-R 600 and 08/09 GSX-R 600 are the same?

I see different part numbers on the two years and different spacers in the wheels themselves, on ronayers.com The internals look quite different.

If you want to fit the wheels and need custom spacers made for low cost, let me know. I just did some quick work like that for another member here, he was in & out of my home shop in 35 minutes to have 3 spacers altered and one made from scratch.

I don't know where "lurk" is located Jim but my shop is at my dad's home in Worcester. Material cost + beer or cigar!

Well if you do need to adapt the wheel to a bike, we could get together sometime and measure spaces and offsets to see what differences there are to determine what spacers need to be made. It's not rocket surgery.

i'd rather not have to make adapters to make it fit. i was looking to buy a 3rd rear wheel that would have practice/track day rubber mounted on it. i found a good deal on an 08 wheel, but not sure if it would fit.
