Meh. I'm actually kinda disappointed. The Monster is supposed to be THE naked bike, and now it seems they are just covering more up with that swoopy silver rear piece.

The specs are nice, but the body not so much. I'm sure it'll grow on me.

EDIT: I know the other Duc thread mentions the Monster. I feel it deserves its own thread

I gotta agree that the styling kinda sucks. Looks like the top of a hypermotard with the tank and seat combination....I loved the old ones... maybe an S4RS has a place in my future.....

hopefully it's like the 916-generation bikes... they got ugly w/ the 999 then with the 1098 they got it right again. maybe it goes beautiful-ugly-beautiful? (who knew ducati needed rebound chics)

I like the headlight, tank, frame and swingarm. THe exhaust has potential with a different can set-up.

Those aluminum thingies are a bit too kawi, but I'm imagining a carbon fiber replacement that may just take the bike where it needs to be...
