2 stroke love

I am visiting with my girl friend's family down south, and took a stroll through her dad's barn. Thought some of you guys might like what he's got in here. I don't know much about 70s bikes, but the 3 cylinder two strokes sound pretty cool! And look very cool, with the asymmetrical pipes.

My neighbor had a 750 two-stroke Kawasaki when I was a kid. I thought it was the coolest thing ever and probably why I'm fond of Kawasakis now. His looked just like this one:

Ridden many 2 strokes, just finally purchased my own. Love the smell, the light weight and lack of engine braking. Thing is too much fun.

There's two more in the laundry room. One of them is another water buffalo but with some crazy single sided swingarm fabrication work in progress. The other one I don't recognize.

FYI, Kawasaki and Benelli also made air cooled inline six cylinder street bikes back in the day. In 1964 Honda had a 247cc inline 6 racebike! In 1966 the 6 cylinder 250 racebike got a 7 speed transmission!
