New 2002 R1, Any pipe suggestions??!

Just picked up this beaut on Saturday. I'm debating what pipe to get. I had a Two Bros Titanium on my F4i, it sounded perfect, but I wasn't very impressed with the materials used and the fit quality. I think the quality of Micron is excellent, but I'm looking for a standard mount pipe w/a round canister. Any suggestions or pics of standard mount systems on a 2002 R1??

if your goinn to ride it hard put a scotts steering damper on it.

btw: i'm selling mine, now that i have the 04.
i also have a carbonfiber tank protector i'll be looking to sell.

BTW - This bike is incredible, the sound the engine makes when it's pulling hard is amazing. Almost a shame to drown it out with loud exhaust noise... NOT!!!

It's been a while since I've been so obsessed about riding that I find myself out in 40 degree temps, smiling like a fool, going balls out! I still have a big grin on my face...

i was surprised as too how quiet the pipe was.

be careful with the dunflops on the cold roads.

I'd like to install a rear-view cam w/an lcd monitor to keep an eye on the freaks in traffic... My rearview mirrors are useless.

What's your asking price on the R1 parts? I may be interested in that damper when I have the extra cash

i had a rear camera on the 02. it was an easy set up. i was going to go with an lcd, but didn't have room for it. the gps and radar took up too much space.

Sandman, is that the same size, shape and mount location as yours? You may have me sold, especially considering new slip-ons are as much as $600+ bucks. I'm trying to find a pic with the whole side of a bike, w/that pipe, to see how it looks with the lines of the bike.

I'm really picky when it comes to asthetics...

as far as i can tell it's the same, if needed i'll take some pics of it tomorrow. it's not on the bike currently. the pipe is sweet (which is why i bought it) it's a direct bolt on. no tweaking or bending, it just went right on.
