I had an issue last year with the little metal switch on the starter being melted and replaced that whole housing.
Last weekend I went to go for a night ride and the headlights (Hi & Lo) wouldn't come on, and the indicator on the dash for the Hi's wouldn't come on either. I thought it was something simple like the fuses, but replaced them with no success. I won't have access to the bike for a week but was hoping to get some additional ideas for what to check?
TIA
check the wiring harness and all the pins. I believe some gsxrs had the pins pulling out.
there will be a bunch of connectors and i believe its the first large grey one as you follow the wires down from the headlights

Thanks for the tips Dan... turns out it was my starter switch (again). Seems the two metal nodes in the button itself are pushing up on my headlight contacts in the ignition (black plate with 4 nodes) and bending these so they no longer make contact.
Either they don't touch or I bend the switch nodes up, at which point the switch will get stuck in until I loosen the casing again. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas why this might keep happening? Does anyone else have ignition/headlight issues?
