    My new Silver Mille

    Hey all,

    Well now I know what this whole V-Twin thing is all about now. After getting the Futura I felt the urge to have a real sport bike with a v-twin powerplant....... Wow I'm hooked ....

    Boy this bike is a Blast, I have done 500 miles in the first three days not counting today as it's raining like crazy. I can't wait till the weekend as I should hit the 900 mark and start flogging it MORE.. I get the 600 mile valve check stuff done Friday...

    I have not had this big of a SHIT ass'd grin for years... Now I know why you guys love your twins so Much...

    Hey Steve,

    Congratulations on the new bike. Now you have a comfy sport tourer with a lot of character to take those nice long trips with the wife and a sport bike to rip it when you feel like changing gears from the touring mode. Not a bad deal!!!

    Looking forward to riding with you this season.

    I haven't tried this twin phenomenon yet. I have definately heard from those who have experienced it for sure. Maybe I'll have to try it at some point in the future.

    For now, I have a nice in-line 4 that keeps me smiling from ear to ear.

    of all the different engine types I have ridden, nothing even comes close to the feel of a sport twin, sure an inline4 may be faster, but that still doesn't compare to the throbbing pulses of a twin.

    Although I'd prefer a Triumph or maybe even a Benelli triple over a 4, it still doesn't have what twins have (even hardleys) .
