Just wondering if anyone has used Danmoto adjustable rearsets. I need to replace the left side on a bike I just snagged for the track and for $185 it might be worth it.
Other ones I saw look an awful lot like Vortex .. but are probably Chinese garbage. Anybody insight on these? (Dragon Racing?)

Is he the guy that does all the carbon fiber? If so, I have been warned away by several people.
Landrics put some Danmoto pipes on his Ducati. they looked pretty nice in person.
the Dragon stuff I believe is Chinese knockoff stuff. if Vortex parts are interchangeable they could be ok but I'd go with something easy to replacement parts for like actual Vortex or Woodcraft. that whole thing about false economy. if you crash and need to replace a peg or the whole rearset then it starts defeating the purpose of going cheap.

Yeah. Those carbon pipes fell apart after about a week.Originally Posted by CBR929RE

Thanks for the insight. I figured you will end up getting what you pay for. Looks like it will be stock rearsets or I'll have to pony up.

A set of Vortex adjustables just popped up with a buy it now for $160. Couldn't pass that up. Problem solved.
