As long as your bike is still a 1st gen than yes cowl will fit (1999-2002)

I kinda remember you posting a pic of your bike once and I saw that the rear section was all blk past your seat. So I'm pretty sure this would go with it.

Basically it looks like this. A little wear and tear from being stored in my closet.

Femmekat. I have the same bike as you (almost). It also has an aftermarket exhaust (yoshi) I have an OEM filter in it because, it never been tuned or jetted for the aftermarket exhaust and now the bike runs lean. I was told that if I put a different filter in it would run even leaner and have issues. BUT, the only time I have problems is when I am extremely high altitude (auto road mt. Washington) Other than that I can't even tell. I haven't had an "OH SHIT" moment either (other bike was 250) cuz I am very conscientious of the throttle. I don't feel like paying for extra services when the bike runs fine, so I'm sticking with the OEM. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

Also, I have the OEM flat black rear cowl that goes with your bike. If you are interested in owning one and getting rid of your rear seat, let me know.

Lol. Check what's in there now lauren and if its a k and n or bmc you can clean and re oil it and you're all set.
