You do realize Okajima WAS used in the first game? And his job isn't to pitch 2 innings to close, it's to set up Papelbon. Or Gagne in certain situations. They have a couple more games this weekend, none of those guys are going out for 2+ innings.

If hindsight was a real deciding tool, you guys would make awesome sports anaylists.

Delcarmen f'd up...Gagne f'd up(again). They're still the guys the Sox are going to continue going to, so suck it up. Hopefully whatever it is Gagne is missing right now he gets back. He's had a pretty good season otherwise, I don't think the panic button should be pressed just yet.

the thing about the wily mo trade was he was 23 when they got him he didnt have any options for pawtucket so he was with the big club no matter what. hes 25 now all he needs is a-b's 250 in two years is shit for a young player.theo was hoping he could turn out to be manny's replacement but i didnt work out.its not like arroyo turn out to be cy young or walter johnson.
