I'm looking to sell the GSXR, nothing new there (http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...&threadid=5761). It's priced competetively with everything in the want ads (there are slightly newer ones for a little more, slightly older for a little less), and if I sell it for $3K its not like I'm making money on it or anything. So is this an totally unreasonable price for a decent bike?
Maybe the winter was just a bad time... time to call up the want ad people again...
"Balls," I said. "Never mind the track. The track is for punks. We are Road People. We are Cafe Racers."

I just don't think it is a very sought-after bike. It is over 10 years old and a dedicated sportbike. People who buy dedicated sportbikes tend to like numbers. Just realize that the blue book price for my Ducati when I sold it was $7600 and I got more than two grand less for it. That's a 2000 too.
If you are really interested in getting another bike, bring the price way down to cut your losses. If you have some time before you will be buyin another bike, then lower the price continually until you get some bites.
Just not a very desirable machine, thats all![]()
