I bring mine to a harley place. If the tires have tread and the headlight works, you get a sticker.

I go to a local general bike repair shop that works mainly on v-twin cruisers (not necessarily Harleys) and he actually goes through the basic stuff to make sure it all works (lights, directionals, horn, tires, brake pad wear)

He doesn't get picky about exhaust or where directionals are.

Yes since you are in Salem, DO NOT GO TO CYCLES 128! I used to go to the place next to Big Freds or whatever its called on Canal st but it's closed. I am going to try the Harley place across from the storage place by Boston St in Salem.

Oh I've already been asked twice about it, once by a NH sheriff and last year by a Rockport sheriff as to why I decided I was special anough to not have one.. both times we came to a mutual agreement that I was an idiot and the bike could not and would not pass an inspection.

It's not from a lack of want, the bike just won't pass. I've tried 3 times now and gave up.

i went to Witch City Cycles in Salem today. the bike now has a blue sticker on the plate
