i dont know why some people dont like the short tail... most moto gp bikes have basically no tail, just a little piece that sticks out like on this bike... the new fireblade/cbr1000rr has that too, and the 09 zx6r looks like it's going in that direction too.

i personally love it, looks much more aggressive than a big beaver tail like the gixxer that's all wide/flat looking and not very aggressive/attractive in my opinion.

+1 my bike has a pretty short tail, and the 09 R1 has a very short/stubby tail as well. I like that much better.

A lot of the older gixxers had the biggest ghetto booty ever... always thought those were hideous.
