Good response.
You make the point I was wanting to make; the campaign is about other users being aware of motorcyclists.
DB your rebuttal looks great to me, I would definitely allowed them to post it up

like it has been said before on this post his points are valid but his tone is wrong. i have posted my comments that i left on the forum for his article below
"I agree with most of what you are saying but your brash generalization makes you seem angry and resentful. This in turn makes your entire article seem like something a peeved Andy Rooney would produce. Anytime one decides that there interpretation of a group based on limited examples can be applied broadly huge problems arise. I see far more offensive print, for instance, on the back of cars than on the back of motorcyclists. I have seen Honda Civic’s that are louder and drive more recklessly than those you have dubbed "crotch racketeers". While I have no delusions as to the transgressions of the respective members of the mode of transportation to which I myself subscribe, almost none of these are motorcycle exclusive. To wave your finger in the direction of motorcyclists is irresponsible without pointing in some capacity at yourself. Both motorcyclists and “Cagers” (I figured I could also be liberal with the labeling) must learn to respect each other as we both share the same road. While the bell curve will naturally provide for some “bad apples” we should take common courtesy into consideration. This, I believe, is the philosophy behind the “motorcycles are everywhere” campaign. Just be aware that they are on the road and be mindful of it. The lack of ability to provide this without conditions is what makes both groups more resistant to co-exist peacefully. Your article itself, in fact, works against this very goal.
No shit - this guy is totally diggin his vocabulary and putting it out there for the whole world, or just Lowell residents, to see. This probably took him a week to write and re-write. I agree with the straight pipes thang...and love that he used the word "cretin".
Fuck 'em. ...wonder if he ever gave one of his "prey" a ticket whilst lecturing about Newtonian-fucking-physics? Imagine sitting through that shit.![]()

Nice retort Richie Pittenger!!! I can dig it! You should definitely get them to post/print that shit...and add that you didn't need a fucking thesaurus to write it as it came straight from the heart.![]()
