Americans can't handle the truth. With that said, I like it.

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
leathers will help that accident! as a volt. Firefighter/Medical Response technician... I have seen ALOT and leathers would have def helped keep that injurie a little less traumatic... not saying it will help a break... but there would have been less of an avulsion etc! I liked that ad...
good ad
I don't even wanna know what my shoulder would have looked like if I wasn't wearing my leathers.

How true.
Wear it and walk away. Now he has to worry about an infection setting in for any pieces that got left behind.

Yeah having been a vol f/f i've seen my share too. Makes you think about just jumping on the bike to run down to the store. Read a study once that like 75% of accidents happen less than 10 miles from home on roads you are familiar with.

I got a Draggin' shirt (kevlar-mesh) at the end of this season. It's supposed to be as good as leather for abrasion resistence. I'll wear it always, but I never want to test it.. I tried their jeans, but they didn't fit me well. I wear Sliders jeans, also kevlar lined, on just about every ride.

I wear shorts. They're less restrictive for evasive manuevers so that way I'll never crash.
You want to know what's as good as leather for abrasion resistance? Leather, and that's about it. That kevlar reinforcement might help at first, but once the denim holding it in place shreds, it won't do a damn thing. While that makes it considerably better than just straight denim, nothing can replace leather. Textiles are better than the kevlar stuff, but that will still melt and shred, it just takes longer to do so.
I don't care what you wear, but it's dangerous to tell people a kevlar-mesh is as good as leather when it isn't.
kevlar is way overrated, its not high on abrasion resistance, kevlar fabric is known for its puncture resistance
Cordura has high abrasion resistance, but friction can make it melt, as long as you wear underwear to keep it off your skin, it can be effective as some leather

That clip teaches an important lesson: Don't crash.
Can someone point me to the location where I can find the prescient ability to know when I will crash so I don't ride that day?
Fracking gear is so expensive ... and when they cut it off ... it makes me cry!![]()
If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride would do.
Gear's expensive but its better than them cutting muscle off or dead flesh?
Sarcasm is totally lost on this crowd!
