I've been couped up in my cage for so long because of the rain that tonight I just had to go out for a ride since the roads were dry. To my surprise it was one of the best evening rides I've had in a long time. All the roads were pretty much empty and the entire area was eerily quiet. I headed out Rt. 1A from Ipswich stayed on it through Hampton and Rye all the way up to Maine. I only came across 3 cars on my way up... 1 pulled over and the other two were in a passing zone. No cops in either direction. Can't ask for much more!
Fall is the best time of the year to ride. I love the cold air! The bike makes enormous power and runs incredibly smooth when the temperature is in the upper 40's. Out of almost every tight corner in Rye, my front tire gave up trying to keep the front end down.
I hope some of you managed to get some riding in tonight!
