new bike

looking to buy a new bike. my current one is too old for me.looking for 04 and up.i'd like to move upto an 11 but will stay at 600 if the right bike comes along.anyone know of anything,any help is gr8.

Go to some dealers and sit on some bikes to see what you like comfort wise and the looks of. Most of these new bikes dont get justice by seeing them in pictures. Take a ride to the local dealer and give each bike some thought.

But then buy privately unless you are going for a brand new bike.

also, what bike are you coming from, what type of riding are you looking to do, and what's your price range?


i'm of the Pete school of thought (oreogitorio), coming up with a list of what you're looking for out of motorcycling, and then coming up with potential bike options to fit that list, rather than the other way around (if you're looking to buy X bike because you want it, sometimes you find out that's not the right bike for you)
