yup, i did sell the Buell. felt like a bad parent letting it go but i got full asking price, the kid was speechless the whole transaction. hahaa. gonna miss that badass bike.

stick an engine hour meter on it...about $40... maintain (valve adjust etc) by hours run....
If you track day it - change oil every 2 day and oil filters every second oil change.

I check my valves on my SMR630 Husky every 20 hours of track running.

thanks, Graham. good tips and I do plan to put an hour meter on it. i have a nice basic one on my mini that should work fine on the Ape.

maintenance is gonna be a bitch but i'm kinda anal about that stuff with all my bikes anyway. fingers x'd she a runner!

I think I picked my hour meter up from either sears or Lowes... in their lawn mover section..:-)... sticks on - and a wire wrap around a plug lead...

$15 i think..... it is exactly the same as the one I bought from KTM for $40 minus the logo.....
