New Bike

so as i mentioned in a couple other threads, i was in the market for a "new" bike. a motard more specifically. after searching for a few weeks i thought id never find one for reasonable price or even remotely close by. then i found one and i jumped on it. it was in WV.
after making all the arrangement with the bank and filling out the proper paper work i was ready
so i got up at 7 on sunday and got the trailer ready and then headed off to work. got out at 5 and then went home and picked up my girlfriend. we left around 630pm. drove non stop to WV, got there just over 12hrs later. met the guy at work, paid him, loaded up and left. took a little longer to get home but i pulled in the driveway at 10pm on monday.
so im now the proud owner of my first KTM. its an 07 690 supermoto (SM), black, mostly stock except for a touring windshield and some cheap handguards. it has just over 4k on the clock.
the previous owner had just installed a new Distanzia rear tire, so ill probably match the front soon. its got some super gay foam grips on it so those will be changed and i plan on getting some better handguards with some aluminum in them. i may go tubeless at some point also.
i havent taken any pictures yet due to rain and the bike is dirty but it looks like this

it doesnt look like your standard motard but i like the front fender and dual truck exhaust.
brembo radial front brakes and a slipper clutch and a 6 speed tranny is gonna make this thing a blast. ill get some pics up when i get it clean and it stops fucking raining.
now, someone buy my SV so i can pay for this thing

on my 1 quick test yesterday, i was able to back it into my driveway. seems to work pretty good

looks familiar, you'll love it the thing is a blast, the windshield makes a pretty big difference. I average around 55MPG, tank range is a pretty steady 150 before the light.

Obviously those dual cans W/cats weight a ton, the LV dual cans (carbon or aluminum) drop about 13-15lbs, scour ebay and SMJ I picked up a brand new LV full exhaust for $500. There's not a ton of these around, sometimes it's a negative looking for parts, sometime a postive when they can't move stuff.

and an EVO tail tiddy, really cleans up the back.

Yeah...true. I only installed one, and raced with it for a year. :shrug:
