The scene where he airs out his RS250 at the salt flats is worth a look as well!

    Wow Paul,

Rockers... that movie rocked... when I saw it in Greenwich Village
in the 70s it was so smokey that the projector could barely
cut through the haze. That was back in the day where
    theaters were much more liberal!

I don't think I even remember it having motorcycles in it ;-)

The movie had subtitles even though its in english!
The rastafarian accents are heavy duty.

. . . but I can never tear myself away from Torque. Those catfight-on-a-motorcycle scenes are priceless!!

LOL! The bike was a the central character and what pushed the whole plot along. The negotiation when he buys it is hilarious. they ask 700 dollars, he says I have 500, and they basically sack him and take all the money out of his pockets, then force him to give one sales dude a ride somewhere.

The next thing he does is take it to a custom painter to get the lion of Judah painted on the tank.

O.k. this isn't a movie but 2 t.v. shows from the 80's. They were totally bike related and I watched every episode. Any of you guys remember:

    Streethawk?

Chips?(i know you guys remember Chips)

    Re: Two bike movies

I liked The Worlds Fastest Indian. It came out in 05 so not too old. It has Anthony Hopkins in it he does an excellent job acting imo. The movie is based on a true story. The character the movie was based on set a world record on a 1920's Indian Scout at Bonneville of over 190 mph.

My girlfriend actually liked it a lot too. Her grandfather raced Indians at Loudon for something like 50 years. He also wrote a few books on motorcycles that are at Barnes and Noble and maunfactures parts for Indians so she could relate to the charcter in the movie and enjoyed watching it.

    Re: Two bike movies

I've been listening to the Rockers soundtrack for 20+ years, never saw the movie, but just added it to our Netflix queue.

PS: can't believe no one has used this in the thread yet!
