they really are a big improvement, no other one thing will make nearly the difference that these will. The attention they draw is both good and bad, my bike is locked in the house when i'm not on it though.
2006 Yamaha R1, Graves Full Exhaust, BST Carbon Fiber Wheels, K&N Air Filter, EGR Blockoffs, Factory Pro Velocity Stacks, Power Commander 5, Stealth 520 Conversion -1/+1, FP levers, Ohlins shock, Ohlins fg327 forks, Ohlins steering damper, Sato racing rearsets, Goodridge SS shadow brakelines, EBC Extreme pads, Braking SK wave rotors F&R. few other appearance mods.
Very nice looking ride buddy. Those wheels are nasty. Is the difference in feel really that substantial? What is the weight difference between the CF and standard oe wheels?
the difference is huge.. I actually dumbed down the suspension a bit to help to get used to the new feel and I'll sharpen it back up as i get a feel for the difference. Acceleration is better, though it was never a problem anyway, and thats after going back down by a tooth on the rear. And the one that suprised me was the braking, much less effort to slow the bike down, and the biggest difference next ot the handling.
IMHO... they were well worth the money and if i could only keep one mod it would be them. The little things make a difference as they add up, but these were an instant change that was definatley noticeable.
